ACT
The ACT is now offered in both paper and online formats, and the Science section is now optional. English, Reading and Math retain the same format (same passage length and amount of questions) whether the test is taken on paper or online.

ACT v. SAT: How to decide?!
When taking their PreACT, some students prefer the format of this test. Other students may take a diagnostic of each before tutoring begins to decide. The ACT is longer than the Digital SAT, but the Science section is now optional, which puts the length at around 2 and a half hours without the Science section. ACT Math tests more obscure information (matrices, asymptotes, logs) that the SAT doesn't cover, but ACT Math questions tend to be quicker to solve and more straightforward as compared to SAT questions. Some students prefer the "quicker pace" of the Math section on the ACT. Additionally, some students prefer to be able to take the test on paper, which the SAT no longer offers.
